Bitpeople is seeking a Senior SAP Business One Consultant/Architect to join our dynamic team in Oslo. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, optimizing, and supporting SAP Business One solutions for clients, with a specific focus on Logistics, Warehousing, Cloud enablement and EDI integrations.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and business process knowledge to deliver seamless ERP solutions to meet organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to analyze business processes and translate requirements into SAP Business One solutions.
- Configure and implement SAP Business One functionalities, with a focus on:
- Logistics: Sales and purchasing processes, order-to-cash cycles, and inventory management.
- Warehousing: Inventory tracking, warehouse optimization, and barcode/scanning integrations.
- Cloud delivery: Ensure that solutions are compatible for native cloud delivery through CCC
- EDI Integration: Setup and support EDI transactions with partners, suppliers, and third-party systems.
- Follow project plans, timelines, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct user training sessions and provide post-go-live support to maximize system adoption.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues while ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Customize and enhance SAP Business One through add-ons and integrations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and supply chain departments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an SAP Business One Consultant.
- Proven expertise in SAP Business One modules, specifically in: Logistics, Warehousing and CCC
- Hands-on experience with EDI Integrations.
- Strong knowledge of business processes across finance, supply chain, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in customizing and integrating SAP Business One with third-party systems and experience with web-client deliveries
- Proficiency in SQL and reporting tools such as Crystal Reports.
- English – Upper-Intermediate and above.
Nice to have
- Certification in SAP Business One or related ERP systems.
- Familiarity with EDI tools for SAP Business One
- Experience with Cloud Control Center as well as SAP Web-client
- Strong understanding of SAP Business One integration frameworks (e.g SDK, ServiceLayer, B1iF, Azure etc)
- Previous experience in industries such as manufacturing, retail, distribution, or warehousing.
- Understanding of process automation and supply chain optimization.
